Shady Lane

A park-like canopy of oaks, palms, and other mature trees covered this stately corner of the Peninsula. Woodside-based architect Jim Caldwell designed the rambling compound, DELA and SHED Landscape Architecture knitted together outdoor living spaces with flowering dogwoods, native redbuds and manzanita with privacy hedges to direct the view and flowering grasses to capture the light.
